Bio

Major Bridget K. Pantaleon is a proven leader and intelligence officer in the United States Air Force. With more than 12 years of active-duty service, her background includes a broad spectrum of strategic and operational intelligence assignments from all-source analysis, cryptanalysis, signals intelligence, offensive and defensive cyber operations, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations to deliberate and dynamic kinetic and non-kinetic targeting in the Indo-Pacific Command, European Command, and Central Command.

Prior to her selection as the USAF’s Cyber Warfare Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University, Maj Pantaleon was the Director of Operations of the 94th Intelligence Squadron, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. As such, she led 348 Airmen across 12 Air Force Specialties and eight flights in support of nine Air Force and National Security Agency missions.

Maj Pantaleon is passionate about innovation and integrating advanced technology within the Department of Defense through partnerships with private industry and academia. She has successfully digitally transformed multiple squadrons to increase technology-enabled lethality and operationalize innovation. She is also a Defense Ventures Fellow, a program where she was embedded in Point72 Ventures and gained the knowledge to bridge the valley of death between private industry and the Department of Defense dual-use technology acquisitions.

Additionally, Major Pantaleon leads Department of the Air Force grassroots initiatives advocating for policy change for servicemember family quality of life issues. She founded the Department of the Air Force’s Family Life Action Group and the Department of Defense’s first joint Women’s Initiative Team at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. She has successfully overhauled Department of the Air Force family policies and relentlessly advocates for improvements in support to military dependents with special needs. Her advocacy has been featured extensively across Air Force Association conferences, culminating in her participation as a panelist on the United Forces and Families panel at the Warfare Symposium in Denver, Colorado.

Maj Pantaleon commissioned as the top graduate through the Ohio State University Reserve Officer Training Corps in 2011. She was the top graduate of the intelligence officer basic course at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas. She was also a distinguished graduate and flight top graduate of Squadron Officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama where she was unanimously nominated as the Outstanding Contributor by her peers.

Her military awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal and multiple Air Force Commendation Medals. Maj Pantaleon holds bachelor’s degrees in Chinese and International Relations with a focus in Diplomacy from the Ohio State University and is currently finishing her master’s degree in Intelligence Operations from American Military University.

She is the proud mother of her two sons, Jack and Luke Pantaleon. Together, they enjoy traveling across the world with the military and exploring new cultures and experiences.
