Bio

Lindsay Marcellus is the Communications Specialist for the Carnegie Mellon Institute for Strategy & Technology. In this role, she promotes CMIST programs, courses, events, and activities by creating digital content and managing the CMIST websites and social media accounts. She also coordinates the weekly newsletter and manages faculty media opportunities. 

Prior to joining the Carnegie Mellon Institute for Strategy & Technology, Lindsay spent over six years doing web and print communications for the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, a non-profit organization. She earned a PhD in Theological Ethics from Boston College, and was awarded the 2023 Donald and Hélène White Dissertation Award in the Humanities for her dissertation, Perfecting Ecological Relationality: Acknowledging Sin and the Cardinal Virtue of Humility. She holds a Master of Theological Studies as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame.
