Data Analytics Day - July 30

Over the last three years, we have developed and implemented our data strategy to build a data-informed decision culture at CMU and moved up on the data analytics maturity hierarchy. Most importantly, our data analytics efforts have promoted collaboration among CMU community members who are either data analytics practitioners or enthusiasts.

To continue the momentum we have built around our community of practice, the core theme of the 2025 Data Analytics Day. This year, Data Analytics Day will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost, the Office of Finance, and the Office of the CIO we will explore “Advancing Data Analytics through Community Engagement and Empowerment.” This year’s core theme is directly connected to key initiatives such as data literacy, data governance, data franchise development, and the innovative use of data analytics in university strategic and operational planning.
