Bio

Julie M. Huser is the Senior Data Analyst for the Office of Enrollment Management, joining the team in August 2023. In this role, Julie works closely with the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and EM leadership team, providing decision support through strategic, action-oriented reporting and analysis with an emphasis on scenario planning, enrollment forecasting, market analysis, and competitive intelligence. Additionally, her work includes forging strong partnerships with key university partners in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning and Enterprise Information Systems, supporting an innovative, data-informed culture and collaborative reporting framework at Carnegie Mellon University.

Prior to joining CMU, Julie served as the Associate Director of Research & Analytics at Purdue University where she supported Enrollment Management leadership with data-informed decision support in the form of useful, objective, evidence-based and timely research, perspectives and analytic products that enhanced and informed the work of Enrollment Management and key campus partners over a period of 12 years.

She earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University (B.A., Journalism) and M.Ed. in the field of Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics and Assessment from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Julie works remotely from her home in a rural area about 30 miles west of Indianapolis, Indiana that she shares with her husband Matt, two kids Reed and Laurel, and their dog, Eddie.
