American Made Solar Prize Round 5 Set! Pitch Showcases

As a part of CMU Energy Week 2022, the Scott Institute hosted the American Made Solar Prize Round 5 Set! Pitch Showcases. At two separate events for the Software and Hardware categories, 30 teams presented their pitches toa panel of advisors. The advisory panelists consisted of a diverse range of Energy experts, who provided constructive feedback on the pitches. The teams presented their pitches in front of rotating panels consisting of over 30 professionals in total. 

An Advisory Panel Discussion concluded our Round 5 Set! Showcases after the Hardware pitch presentations on Friday, March 25th. The advisor panel included: Josh Beck (BCI Technology Investments), Judy Li (Energy Foundry), Phoebe Wang (Shell Ventures), Sakshi Mishra (Microsoft) and Jeffrey McDaniel (Innovation Works). The panelists shared their overall take on the pitch presentations and the current trends they are seeing within the energy industry.
