Note- Not all classes are offered every semester. CMU has many courses that run for an entire semester, and you will see these on the Schedule of Classes as 12‐unit (or occasionally 9‐unit) classes. You will also see 3 or 6‐unit mini‐classes listed under section (SEC) as either an A1, A2, A3, or A4‐mini. A mini course runs only half a semester. For example, an A3 mini‐course runs in the first half of the spring semester only, and an A4 mini runs in the second half. For Spring, you will take the 39‐611 A3‐mini Energy Demand & Utilization in the first half of the Spring Semester and you will take 39‐612 A4‐mini Energy Policy & Economics in the second half of the semester. Thus there is no conflict despite these classes being listed on the same days and times.
