Avery Hart

Bio

From Cleveland, Ohio, Avery Hart is a second-year Heinz College student in the Public Policy and Management program. Specializing in Urban and Regional Economic Development, Avery is driven by a keen interest in leveraging her expertise to make significant contributions as a city or urban planner following her graduation. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, where she majored in Economics with minors in Political Science, Legal Studies, History, and Psychology. 

Her passion for writing and editing drew her to Heinz Journal. Outside of school, she is an avid equestrian, competing several times a month at national horse shows in the hunter/jumper field. Her horses are her biggest motivation and she is thrilled to be able to continue riding and competing while at Heinz.
