Bio

Nate Brooks is a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management student from Eastern Kentucky who is studying economic development, program design, and the clean energy transition at CMU. He has worked in overdose prevention media for several years in Kentucky and received his Bachelor's degree in economics from Western Kentucky University. In his free time, he runs, gardens, plays music, and walks around looking at things. Nate is interested in the Heinz Journal for its collaborative writing and its embrace of new ideas. He hopes to help good ideas stand out and push our society in a direction that improves the quality of life for all our citizens.
