Annual Giving Header

Although the 100th anniversary of Margaret Morrison Carnegie College (MMCC) is now behind us, our legacy will continue. As fundraising chair for our Centennial, I’m happy to report that more than 1,000 of us contributed almost $453,000 during this effort from January 2005 through December 2006! This is truly a testament of our commitment, collective spirit, and generosity to Margaret Morrison and Carnegie Mellon.

As we move into the next 100 years, I hope we can continue to provide students with the opportunity for the kind of college experience that embodies our Maggie Murph traditions with a Carnegie Mellon education. While there are many things that help to keep the MMCC spirit alive, I believe our greatest legacy is our MMCC Scholarship Program, which I encourage you to support by making a gift today.

Since its inception in 1999, this program has provided financial support for today’s most talented undergraduate women. To date, we have raised nearly $600,000 for the pooled scholarship fund. We have also secured 20 named MMCC Scholarships with gifts totaling $973,000. This academic year, 25 female students are benefiting from our generosity. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Remember that your support is invaluable and makes a significant impact on today’s students. Whether you have given to our initiative in the past or you are considering your first ever gift, I encourage you to participate by making your gift online today. Your support of the Margaret Morrison Carnegie College Scholarship Fund or a named scholarship will ensure that our Margaret Morrison legacy continues into the future.

Thank you, in advance, for your participation!

Sincerely,
