At Carnegie Mellon, graduate students like me have the unique opportunity to change people’s lives through our research. Recent findings from my lab have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and on Good Morning America. Faculty members from my department have spoken at the White House and at NATO Headquarters. We’re able to make this kind of impact because of the financial support of alumni like you.

Your generosity every year allows us to focus on research initiatives that are truly important, not just traditional. That is why I, too, choose to give to Carnegie Mellon. Even though it’s only a few dollars, I give back because I know it makes a direct and daily impact on what it means to be a graduate student.

Please join me in making a gift to Carnegie Mellon this year. Your contribution – of any amount – supports today’s students and faculty and provides the resources we need to continue making an impact on the world.

We’re counting on you.

Sincerely,

Cynthia Cryder
Doctoral Student
