Dear Friend,

In early January, MSCF alumni gathered in New York City for our 9th Annual MSCF Alumni Event. It was great to see everyone! Have a look at the pictures and see if you recognize your classmates! (Photos can be viewed or purchased at the Snapfish website. You will need to create a free account if you do not already have one. Please use “mscfalumni” as the Room Code.)

Fourteen years ago, Carnegie Mellon invented the Masters in Computational Finance degree. A joint effort of four colleges on campus, the MSCF program is one of the University’s proudest accomplishments. Although we now compete with scores of other programs, recruiters and employers continue to regard Carnegie Mellon’s MSCF program as the top program of its kind.

During your time at Carnegie Mellon, our faculty and staff sought to provide each student with the finance, quantitative, programming and management skills needed to be successful. I am confident the MSCF degree has served you well in your financial services career. You have also significantly contributed to our success—with your advice, your active recruiting, and your referral of excellent candidates to the program. On behalf of MSCF faculty and staff, I thank you for your efforts in promoting the program.

Your financial contribution is also critical to the program’s success. Your gift will provide vital support for attracting and maintaining top faculty and much-needed scholarship aid for our most deserving students. We are keen to maintain our place on the top of the heap—your support can help us achieve this. Gifts can be made easily and securely online. Please partner with us today as we continue to provide a world-class education to the financial leaders of tomorrow.

I hope to see you at the “Summer Social” alumni event this July in New York. Details to follow!

All the best,

Rick Bryant
Executive Director
