This is how to say my name:

About

I am passionate about being a user’s advocate, working on products that create simplified experiences, increase user efficiency, and reduce the impact on the planet’s limited resources. I strive to achieve a win-win situation with user satisfaction while promoting the return on investment (ROI) of impactful design solutions that address both business and ecological needs. Ultimately, my goal is to create effective and meaningful experiences with a planet-centric and human-centric approach. Lastly, I am passionate about building communities and mentoring young talent. I am good at translating roadmap initiatives into delivering user experiences and stewarding design from concept to final code. With over 3 years of work experience, I have been responsible for shipping enterprise products, driving the product’s vision while engaging with cross-functional teams such as research, engineering, and product management. I enjoy solving user problems, engaging with users, analyzing their feedback, and striving to enhance their experiences. I bring an analytical and empathetic approach to problem-solving, employing agile and data-driven methodologies to ensure solutions are scalable, intuitive, and functional.

Why MIIPS?

I consider my career path as a jungle gym rather than a ladder. Through the MIIPS program, I can create a unique career blend leveraging my background in user-centered design to drive the end-to-end journey of product development and contribute to growth strategies. Therefore, the ability to customize my academic journey ensures that I have a comprehensive skill set that is relevant to my career goals. Since the cohort consists of students from multidisciplinary backgrounds, each bringing their own skill set to the table, I believe this will create a safe environment to explore coursework outside of my comfort zone.

Education

Dual degree from the National Institute of Fashion Technology and Fashion Institute of Technology (State University of New York) in Communication Design.

Experience

I most recently worked at IBM as a User Experience Designer. I focused on delivering enterprise solutions that provide technicians with asset history and operational data supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based expert assistance.

What type of role are you looking to obtain after you graduate?

I want to position myself as a dynamic and well-rounded professional. I aspire to be an interdisciplinary contributor, seamlessly navigating through the complex intersection of design, engineering, and business.
