The Investment Office manages a robust, diversified portfolio focused on investing with best and brightest managers to grow the university's resources to provide scholarship, program, and faculty support.

Investment Analyst Internship Program
The Investment Analyst Internship is an exciting opportunity for a motivated current student, who is interested in gaining broad-based investment analysis and portfolio reporting experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Candidates must be enrolled as an undergraduate Sophomore or Junior with a major in Real Estate, Consulting, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Business Administration & Management, Business Analytics, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance & Financial Management, or International Business with a minimum GPA of 3.25. Each internship will take place in the Investment Office’s downtown Pittsburgh location at PPG Place over a minimum of 12 weeks either during the fall/spring semester or over the summer, providing the successful candidate(s) with experience and insights into endowment management, investing in an array of asset classes, and analyzing and assessing third party investment managers.

2-Year Investment Analyst Program
The 2-Year Investment Analyst Program at CMU is designed to develop the analyst’s fundamental investment skills and competencies as a contributing member of an institutional investment office. Our investment analysts work closely with senior team members across investment functions including original and ongoing due diligence, quantitative and qualitative analysis, portfolio modeling, and decision-making. The Investment Analyst will gain exposure to a variety of asset classes, encompassing public and private markets globally, representing a unique learning and networking opportunity. To maximize the experience and benefit of the program, analysts must be embedded in the Investment Office's downtown Pittsburgh location at PPG Place. Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree for consideration and work experience is a plus.
