Lorena holds a Bacherlor’s degree in Actuarial Science from one of the best universities in Mexico, UNAM. As a Financial Researcher at Mexico’s Central Bank, she played a pivotal role in adapting to regulatory changes such as IFRS 9 adoption and implementing advanced risk assessment models to identify vulnerabilities in commercial banks. Throughout her career, she has emphasized the importance of attention to detail and professional communication. Her commitment to academic excellence and passion for finance and coding led Lorena to pursue the MSCF program, where she aims to leverage her professional experience to enhance her technical skills in programming, quantitative analysis, and machine learning models. Lorena is recognized for her collaborative leadership and commitment to innovation in financial risk management.
