Yuqi (Serene) Wang graduated from Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2024 with Bachelor's degree in Financial Engineering and a minor in Applied Mathematics. Prior to joining the MSCF program, she joined top hedge funds and investment banks as an intern to build quantitative trading strategies, optimize forecasting models and explore the versatility of machine learning algorithms. As the president of the financial community of CUHKSZ Career Planning and Development Office, she developed solid communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Yuqi attend the MSCF program to strengthen her quantitative skills and further develop market insight. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a career as a quantitative researcher.
