Karen H. Stump, Chemistry

Being a Summer Research Assistant has been great so far. Although I'm not thiking of science as a career, I've learned so many new things, specifically Chemistry. At the present time I'm working on experiments dealing with vitamin C and other solutions for the Fall chemistry classes.

I feel that being in this program will help me a lot on my resume and will come in handy with my Physics or Chemistry 2 class in the up-coming school year. I'm not really sure yet, but I think I want to go into architecture or computer graphics, if I even get the chance to learn about either of them. I still haven't made up my mind, but I think I want to attend Penn State University or Slippery Rock.

All in all, this program has been a great experience for me and I hope that it continues so on so that others will have the same opportunity that I had.
