I started at CMU in 2022.  I coordinate a team of 5 people and 4 student workers to operate a creative research lab. Together we maintain 3 separate grants, 1 class per semester, produce workshops, film screenings, conferences, lectures, and an obscure library of equipment to foster transdisciplinary and boundary pushing research at the intersections of art, science, technology, and culture.

During my term, I would like Staff Council to defend and expand our access to the benefits of employment at CMU in response to challenging trends seen across higher education institutions. In particular, I would like there to be well planned efforts to demonstrate shared work experiences and interests among staff across the schools and colleges.

A song that would be on the soundtrack for my life would be Labi Siffre's "Bless the Telephone" and my favorite quote is from Aunt Ida in Female Trouble, if you know you know.
