Administrative and Events Coordinator, Heinz College

I started at CMU in 2019.  My role is focused on event coordination, planning, and management. I oversee logistics planning, vendor coordination, relationship management, budget management, financial reporting, event design and theme development for the Block Center.

During my term, I want to see the Staff Council be more intentional about its engagement with all staff members, invest more in professional development opportunities, and diversify its strategy and approach to improving the work culture at the university. If elected, I will be committed to working collaboratively with my other colleagues on the council to accomplish these goals.

This information about myself may surprise some who don't know me personally or professionally. I was the former vice president of the board of directors of the August Wilson House who helped secure 5 million dollars raised by Denzel Washington to restore Mr. Wilson's childhood home in the Historical Hill District community.
