I began my career at CMU in 2021 and I manage all HR-related actions and payroll for LTI staff, faculty and students. In addition, I work in partnership with senior management to implement new policies and procedures and research new innovative ways to improve the business operations through technology.

During my term, I would like to see Staff Council gaining more recognition and awareness among new and existing staff. I would also like to see Staff Council participating in creating more benefits for staff and transparency between staff and faculty. I think I could be a great resource for that. As a Co-Chair on the SCS Staff Advisory committee, since last year, I was amongst the ones who pushed creating comprehensive onboarding resources for new staff . As a CMU D&I Committee member, I have been tirelessly pushing for updating current salary information on the CMU website and for providing salary transparency.

My favorite quote is "Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud" -- Maya Angelou. I have a print with it by my desk and also use it in my email signature.
