Winter is coming! The days are getting colder, snow will soon be falling, and the semester is coming to an end. Which means winter break is right around the corner! It's also a great time to apply for summer and fall semester study abroad programs. Remember, our team is here to help and will be available for appointments even after the semester ends. As a reminder, the Study Abroad office will be closed from Dec. 23 to Jan. 2. We look forward to working with you in the new year. Wherever your studies take you, we'll see you there!

Heidi Tao (DC '26) spent last summer at the Waseda Summer Session in Tokyo, Japan and says "First-year summer is a great option for studying abroad! Especially if you are worried about not being able to finish CMU courses or falling behind on internships. Also, taking some language courses of the target country before going is very fun and useful." Many universities around the world have summer programs, and there are programs abroad offering experiential coursework in many fields, including music, art, sustainability, STEM fields, and more!
