Dina Dublon (MSIA 1979, T)

Dina Dublon, a prominent, highly successful financial services executive and active advocate for women’s issues, served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of JP Morgan Chase from 1998 until her retirement in 2004. In this role, she was responsible for the organization’s financial management and operations, strategy and acquisitions, corporate treasury, tax, and investor relations.

dina_dublon_236x236.jpgBorn in Brazil, Dublon earned a bachelor’s in economics and mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and her master’s from the Tepper School of Business. She held positions at Harvard Business School and Bank Hapoalim before joining Chemical Bank’s capital markets group in 1981 as a management trainee, rising to play a key role in the integrations with Manufacturers Hanover, Chase, JPMorgan, and BankOne.

Dublon currently serves on the corporate boards of PepsiCo and T. Rowe Price and is an independent advisor to EY. She previously was on the boards of Microsoft, Accenture, and on the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank, and served on the faculty of Harvard Business School.

Among her charitable activities, she chairs the board of Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, is a member of Columbia University Cancer Research Center Advisory Council, and sits on the boards of the Hastings Center (for bioethics) and the Westchester Land Trust. 

Dublon is a trustee emerita of Carnegie Mellon University and a former member of the university’s Global Advisory Council. Previously, she served on the Board of the Global Fund for Women and was co-chair of the Board of Women’s Refugee Commission.

She was on the Fortune list of the 50 most powerful women in business for several years and has been honored as a “Woman Who Makes a Difference” by many organizations.

“I would not have had the opportunity to pursue the career I had, without the knowledge, analytical skills, and the confidence to ask questions which were gained throughthough my education at the business school,” said Dublon.
