Dr. Jacqui Pincus joined the Eberly Center in 2017. In this role, Jacqui directs Eberly's graduate student and postdoc programs and initiatives. She also manages the Graduate Teaching Fellows. During her time at the Eberly Center as a Teaching Consultant, she championed programs on inclusive undergraduate research and mentoring, interdisciplinary teaching, as well as the expansion of TA training. She also has extensive experience consulting with instructors on teaching and learning and has contributed to a number of research projects.

Jacqui earned her PhD in Classical Studies from the University of Michigan in 2017, where she taught a wide variety of classes in language instruction, ancient history, and literature. She also worked with the University of Michigan’s Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT), as well as the Sweetland Writing Center. At CMU, she periodically teaches a Latin language course in Modern Languages: Classical Latin: Rome's Cultural & Linguistic Legacy.
