Faculty & Staff
The BME Department currently has 58 faculty members, affiliated with 4 colleges, and 30 adjunct faculty members, among them many physicians, who teach courses and facilitate clinical exposure opportunities.
In addition to the Department Head and Associate Head for Education, we have 9 department staff members for managing administrative matters and multiple staff members shared with other departments.
Student Body
In the BME Department, we have approximately 230 undergraduate majors, 30 undergraduate minors, 88 M.S. students, and 51 Ph.D. students.
We aim to build up and work through a collaborative network, encompassing balanced expertise of science and technology, with special attention on the interface between the human body and engineered solution.
