Who are we?

The Askwith Kenner Global Languages & Cultures Room is a space for collaboration and understanding run by the Department of Modern Languages in the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University.

Visit us

The Askwith Kenner Global Languages & Cultures Room is scheduled each semester for classes, events, talks, and screenings. 

In the summer months, between May and August we will be hosting workshops, installing new experiences, and preparing for the fall semester, however, if you wish to visit us, then we can arrange an appointment. Please email  if you would like to visit and will do our best to accomodate your request. 

Work with us

The Askwith Kenner Global Languages & Cultures Room is a space that invites members of our global community to hold events, talks, showings, and performances. This is a space that can hold up to 30 people seated and 45 people mixed standing/seating. Please talk to us about your needs and we will be happy to accommodate you.
