Safety Improvements Near Fifth and Morewood Avenues

CMU's Campus Design and Facility Development department has announced the start of a new project to increase safety near the intersection of Fifth and Morewood Avenues. The upgrades to pedestrian safety will include an expansion of the sidewalk areas adjacent to the Mudge House property and will occur July 8 to Aug. 16, 2014.

These improvements will build upon the recently repaved Morewood Avenue, which included new bike lanes from Fifth Ave. to Forbes Ave., in a joint project between the City of Pittsburgh and CMU. Learn more about the safety improvements in the Fifth and Morewood Avenue area.
