Bio

Major Ronisha Carter is a Data and Artificial Intelligence Strategist for the Department of the Air Force, Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office, Pentagon, Arlington Virginia. In this capacity, she develops and prioritizes integration strategies for Artifical Intellligence technology. Additionally, she manages strategic partnerships synchronizing processes, sharing technolgical advancements, and cultivating relationships acrossthe Department of Defense. Major Carter is also the deputy chief of Artifical Intelligence Test and Operations, enabling the test and evaluation of AI and automous systems throughout their life cycle.

Major Carter joined the Air Force in December 2002 as a Computer Systems Operator. She completed Officer Training School in May of 2013 to become a Cyberspace Operations Officer. Throughout her career, she has been appointed to a series of technical and leadership roles including Information Assurance Security Specialist, Executive Officer, Future Operations Branch Chief, Joint Director of Communications, Special Tactics Wing Director of Communications, Education with Industry VMware Fellow, Artificial Intelligence Integration Flight Commander, the Director of Artificial Intelligence Engineering, and the Chief of Machine Learning Operations.
