New CMULead and LSS Cohorts

Carnegie Mellon University offers two impactful programs designed to cultivate its workforce: CMULead and Lean Six Sigma. Launched in 2019, these programs reflect CMU's strategic investment in training and development to nurture its brightest talent.

  • CMULead equips high-performing staff members with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in future leadership roles at CMU.
  • The Lean Six Sigma program fosters a culture of continuous improvement across the institution by leveraging Lean Six Sigma principles.

To better align with promotion cycles and professional development plans, both CMULead and Lean Six Sigma now begin in June. This allows participants to integrate their program participation into their annual performance goals.
