Prioritize your Physical Wellbeing with CMU=You

We often neglect our physical health in favor of other priorities. However, when you feel good, it positively affects other aspects of your life as well. A healthy body is essential for a healthy mind.

How do I get started?

You might want to go on more walks, eat more nutritious meals or be more in touch with your body and mind. The CMU=You Wellbeing Center can help, and it’s free!

Here are three tips from CMU=You to help you move more throughout your day:

  1. Schedule breaks: Try to take a five-minute break every hour.  Take time to go get some water, walk over to a colleague or even step outside for a bit.
  2. Be creative: Spend 15 minutes cleaning, playing with your pet, trying a couple of workout exercises or dancing to your favorite songs.
  3. Walk as much as possible: Even walking part of commute to work can make a massive difference. Another option is to make walking part of your daily routine, for example during lunch breaks or after work.
