Two Reasons To Check Out Our AV Equipment Lending Program

The Computing Services equipment lending program can help you take your classes, meetings, and small events to the next level. Here are two reasons to check it out.

1. Make your classroom more accessible.

According to the CDC, 5.7 percent of adults in the United States have a hearing disability. And findings indicate that most college students with disabilities do not disclose it.

If you teach in a deep, multi-row registrar classroom with theater seating, consider borrowing a wireless handheld or lapel microphone for the semester. You’ll improve the learning experience for students who suffer from hearing loss and save yourself from having to shout.

2. Manage your own AV in the CUC.

Faculty, staff, and students can book spaces in the CUC to host meetings and small events. And many of them have built-in speakers and projection systems that you can use.

To take full advantage of these systems, consider borrowing equipment and managing your own AV. We offer laptop cables in addition to wireless handheld and lapel microphones.

Note: For larger meetings or events, request full-service event (AV) support.

Ready to Borrow?

Follow our easy, four-step process to borrow AV equipment. After you submit a request, you’ll take advantage of our new lending lockers and drop slot for contactless pick-up and return.
